Hampshire Hub’ is the name of a partnership project to set-up a Local Information System (LIS) for Hampshire. The Hampshire Hub includes a comprehensive data store, which is built on 5 star linked open data.

The project is underwritten by Hampshire County Council, and involves a broad partnership of public service providers both within and around Hampshire: currently this includes 22 organisations, including County Council, Portsmouth, Southampton and Isle of Wight unitaries, 11 district councils, Police, Fire, British Army, South Downs and New Forest National Park Authorities, Ordnance Survey and the DCLG.

The data store has been developed and is being hosted by Swirrl, who are developing new functionality on behalf of the partnership. Main implementation should be complete by end of March 2015, though further functionality may be added after that, and new data will continue to be added
