In August, the GLA released the software code behind GLA-OPS, the Authority’s new grant and project management system. This means the code is now publicly available for other organisations to use for free.
As well as following Government guidelines this is really practicing what we preach when it comes to the GLA’s best practice guide on bespoke GLA development software.
You can access the code here:
What is GLA-OPS?
The OPS Delivery Team was initially set up in 2016 to design and build a robust project and grant management system for colleagues working in Housing and Land, the Regeneration Unit and their external partners. It is now supporting 22 programmes across the units and has processed over £1 billion in payments since November 2017. A new project is now underway to roll the system out to the wider GLA.
