Different systems across Camden use different address formats. This is the biggest single factor that contributes to poor data quality and one that significantly restricts meaningful reporting and business intelligence.
Using the Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRN) means that we can continue to hold address information in their existing formats but, by adding a single field containing the UPRN, it will become possible to link matching records in different databases together.
This project proposes to identify requirements for consistent use of UPRN across the council.
