After the success of our first couple of Gov Notify projects, we wanted to extend the use to Council Tax. The idea being that if we can send a text to residents to pay their council tax, then there should be a decrease in reminders being sent, and calls as a result of reminders or recovery action.
Ideally, we want to be able to text residents to let them know how much they need to pay and when, but due to limitations of the Capita system, we may only be able to tell them when they need to pay. This is currently being investigated.
