The London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI), in collaboration with the London Borough of Camden (lead borough in this project) and 14 other boroughs, is working on developing a common approach to information governance. Find out more here.
LOTI hosted an Information Governance workshop to better understand information governance within the context of London. LOTI agreed on ten recommendations to help and deliver the desired outcome of enabling public sector organisations in London to be able to quickly and easily share data with each other when it is appropriate to do so, in a way that is legal, ethical and secure.
LOTI will be hosting a subsequent Information Governance workshop with specialist Data Protection and Information Governance Officers to explore how they can be more effectively involved in the design and execution of London data-sharing initiatives.
