The London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI), in collaboration with the London Borough of Newham (lead borough in this project) and 15 other boroughs, is working on developing a common approach to evaluating the effectiveness of Assistive Technologies. Find out more here.
LOTI conducted some desk research and hosted an Assistive Technology workshop to learn from boroughs’ experiences of evaluating previous Assistive Technology trials and to co-create a template evaluation framework. As agreed at the workshop, LOTI is in the process of creating a prototype common evaluation framework. LOTI will also map what Assistive Technology trials are in the pipeline, in order to match where the prototype evaluation framework can be tested. LOTI central team will support the iteration of the common evaluation framework.
