The London Borough of Lambeth and its partners (Wycombe, Southwark, Camden and Lewisham) are working with Open Systems Lab to explore a potential solution to create a tool that will reduce the percentage of invalid applications received by planning services. At this stage, the project is likely to be focused on householder applications. The project is very much conceived as building on top of (and hopefully extending) the work already done by the London Borough of Hackney (in collaboration with Snook & Hactar) on their Submit my Planning Application (SMPA) project, and have / will continue to pick up on the documentation of that research and development.
Weekly notes and show and tells will be shared on a dedicated website, as well as blog posts and other comms to be set up.
