An NHS Digital funded alpha to develop a prototype data service based on the discovery into developing the OpenCommunity data standard. Read the discovery report at https://localdigital.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Report-OpenCommunity-Data-standards.pdf

This project is to prove the viability of the standard and contribute to its adoption across local government and the NHS. Specifically to:

  • Test and refine the data model and taxonomy
  • Prototype and test components to maintain the data
  • Test and explore opportunities to remove duplicate data
  • Test the consumption of a data service by user facing products
  • Build the business case for ongoing work

Porism were contracted to carry out the work (working with Digital Gaps, Placecube, iStandUK and others)
